I have now finally come around to accepting my nomination for that second award I may or may not have previously bragged about, I mean, subtly mentioned of course;) Well at the time I said I’d post about it later that week and look at me now, I haven’t done it… but I’m doing it now! So yay, go me for making empty promises yet again:P I have finally found something I am truly good at.
After that, umm, interesting introduction, I’ll get on with it.
The award is called the Mystery Blogger Award and this is what the creator of it had to say about it:
“The ‘Mystery Blogger Award‘ is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging and they do it with so much love and passion” –Okoto Enigma; Creator of this award.
I was nominated by Destiny who runs this lovely blog. Thank you Desi, I really appreciate it! The same goes for you guys, my lovely readers and friends.(That was very corny I know, but just roll with it), I appreciate you a lot as well.
It hasn’t stopped snowing for two days now. It started yesterday and the flakes are still falling slowly. This time it’s not the “I melt as soon as I hit the ground” kind, it’s the really good, real snow. One of my favorite sounds is the one made when walking on good snow. The, almost, crunching sound it makes reminds me of good times and winter.
I hope there’s as much snow in Sweden right now. The winter break starts this Friday and lasts a whole week. My family and I are going on a ski trip in Sälen, located in Sweden.
I can’t wait to get back on my snowboard! I’ve really missed it.
The snow made my want to photograph it, so here’s a couple of pictures I took yesterday.
Child molesters are like predators, exploiting children’s trust Taking advantage of their innocent minds, then feasting on them like a drug Simultaneously crushing their happy spirits and their parents hearts to dust What a feat! And, WHAT. A. TIME. TO. BE. ALIVE.
I got nominated for an award yesterday, which is something I haven’t been in a while, and funny enough I actually got nominated for another award later that day. What a weird coincidence.
I’ll probably post about the other award later this week. (I thought about making just one post presenting both awards, but then it got complicated and I had to think too much, so I decided to do it the usual way).
I guess we should do the normal thing now then.
The award is called the Valiant Blogger Award and I was nominated by the lovely Riya, who, I might add, is the only stranger I’m friends with on Snapchat. So yeah, there’s that ;P
Thank you for the nomination, it was an awesome surprise!
These are the rules:
Post the award on your blog.
Provide a link to the Hall of Valor.
In 200 words or less, share about the greatest challenge in your life and how you got though it
Give one piece of advice to people who are struggling with something in their life.
Than the person who nominated you and nominate a new blogger for the award.
This past week has been… a lot of things, to say the least. There’s been a lot of feelings, thoughts and decisions involved. As the cherry on top, I’ve been sick as well, so yay, great week! *Edit made 20 minutes later. Also, I just got my period. Like this week couldn’t get any worse! And I was wearing white underwear. My uterus must really hate me. Urgh. This is probably TMI but I just thought it was ironic and probably relatable as well*
I’ll just say what’s happened without trying to go into too much detail about it, since it’s actually quite difficult to explain. (I kinda tried writing it down, but it got waaay too complicated so I decided to scratch that).
So here’s the thing: I’m no longer going to France as an exchange student for 6 months.
Some of you may remember that I’ve made a post about it, so if you’ve read that you know how much it meant to me, how it was my dream for several years and how hard I’ve been working to make it happen.
Let me just say that a lot of factors contributed to me making this decision. First I didn’t really have a choice, since attending high school afterwards suddenly turned out to get complicated because of it and I in no way wanted to jeopardize my future. But then stuff changed and the decision was solely in my hands.
I don’t know if I’ve told you this yet, but I’m a huge Teen Wolf fan. So yeah, now you know that.
I know some of you may think, c’mon Teen Wolf, really? That’s exactly what I thought as well before I actually gave the show a chance, so don’t knock it ’till you’ve tried it! I knew it was on Netflix and I’d hear about it, but I just couldn’t get over the name of the show. I mean, come on, Teen Wolf. It sounds like the most basic, supernatural teenage show on the planet, so I did not want to watch it.
Only when I fell in love with Dylan O’Brien after watching ‘The First Time’ did I surrender and started watching it, just so I could see his face again and again and again. (This obsession thingy is probably something I should be embarrassed about, but I still adore him so I really can’t be :P)
And let me tell you, I do not regret that decision and frankly, I was kinda bummed I hadn’t watched it sooner.
It’s just so freaking good. And I could talk for hours about the characters and actors, but don’t worry I’ll spare you. At least for now;)
While telling you about my discovery of Teen Wolf fit naturally into this blogpost, it wasn’t actually the thing I wanted to talk about.
